Streets scheduled for Chip Sealing - 2018

Thayer Road and Steele Road

Streets scheduled for resurfacing/sealing- Summer 2018

The Town of Perinton Department of Public Works has identified forty (40) streets comprising of 15.99 miles of pavement for resurfacing/sealing with Metromat, a product made and applied by the Suit-Kote Corporation.  This process will provide a black, long-lasting, skid-proof surface that seals the road.  In essence, the material used is similar to driveway sealer, but is designed for use on public roadways. At the completion of this process, your street will have a black finish, similar to a newly paved road.  It may exhibit some minor, uneven areas, and will have a coarse, slightly rough surface.  These conditions will disappear with time.  Each street that is resurfaced will be swept by the Town’s street sweepers within about 3 weeks of the treatment being applied.
