Hiring at the Town of Perinton is regulated by New York State
Civil Service Law. With the exception of labor class jobs, and a small
number of confidential positions, our full-time positions are filled by
candidates who successfully pass an appropriate Civil Service
examination for the position for which they are applying. Information on
upcoming exams offered by Civil Service is posted in our Town Clerk's
office. You may also contact the Monroe County Department of Human
Resources at 428-5550 or on line at www.monroecounty.gov for more information.
Seasonal and many part-time positions are not subject to competitive
examinations. The Town does have a need for this type of help from time
to time. If you would like to apply for a labor class, seasonal or
